Wyomissing: An American Dream documents the history of a Berks County borough that knits together three themes: community, family and industry. This PBS39 original production shares the stories of the borough's founding fathers: Ferdinand Thun and Henry Janssen. The German immigrants came to Berks County in the 1890's and formed a textile company that became a legend called Wyomissing Industries.
Join PBS39 for a special screening and panel discussion at The Neag Planetarium at the Reading Public Museum on Wednesday, May 4th from 3 to 5 p.m.
Wyomissing: An American Dream is presented with support from The Wyomissing Foundation, Berkshire Charitable Foundation and the Henry Janssen Foundation.
Special thanks to the Reading Public Museum for hosting this event.
